If you are a Mac user keep reading, you might find this post useful. If you are not, keep reading, chances are you will convert at some point in your life :)
I came across this great app today titled Coconut Battery. This cool app shows you live information about your battery such as how often it was charged and how is the current maximum capacity in relation to the original capacity your battery had when it left the factory. You also get information about the battery-loadcycles (how often did you fully load your battery), the current charger (coconutBattery even warns you if you plugged in a wrong charger for your Notebook), and last but not least information about the age of your Mac.
One thing I really like about this app, beside the cool logo, is the ability to keep a log of all the information. This way you can keep track of how fast your battery is “dying”.
All in all, I really like this app. I normally do not download apps to my computer, but some (like this one) are worth the try.
